no time to post, no details, only that slow club is storming and i like their slow forlorn songs
i was unconscious it was a dream
there is no good way to say im leaving you
this is nice and sad and from the other side of the broken heart love song formula. like i said, im very busy and dont have time to post details.
sorry about the doom
this one is especially sweet and quiet. their songs are more upbeat than these three examples, but these are just the ones i happen to like. its all from their debut album, coming july 6, called 'yeah so' from the uk pop anti (or ante?) folk twee indie duo, that play familiar chords and material but have a clear and pleasant delivery without the irony baggage that you'd expect with rockabilly with indie folk and unusual percussion ("wooden chairs, glass bottles, and spoons.")

whether they really are the "anti-folk troubadours or the lofi acoustic end of the sheffield scene" is to be seen (and no, i don't know what those labels mean either), but it's catchy and noticeable enough for me to come out of hermitage to say a word or two.
